Ikon Allah Football Academy Of Kaduna Hits Another Transfer Jackpot In Romania

The vastly popular and highly productive Ikon Allah Football Academy of Kaduna has hit another transfer jackpot in Romania, following a deal that one of their products, Friday Adams sealed at the weekend.

Sports247 gathered that the camp of Ikon Allah Academy was agog with celebrations following information that Adams had completed a summer transfer to Universitatea Cluj of Romania.

This latest dose of good news comes so soon after Ikon Allah’s management, coaches, players and fans were celebrating the widely publicised move of Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm of Sweden to Brighton & Hove Albion of England.

Everyone at Ikon Allah now has more exciting news to gloat over, after confirmation came that Adams will next season feature in the Romanian Superliga.

The pacy winger moves over from Cluj’s second-tier neighbours, FC Botoșani, where he spent three seasons and made over 80 appearances across all competitions up until this past campaign.

A report by Tribal Football added, “Adams began his career at the Ikon Allah Kaduna academy in Nigeria, before his talent was spotted by Russian youth side, FDC Vista.

“His first major breakthrough came with Armenian club, FC Noah, where he featured 35 times, scoring two goals and registering one assist.

“Known for his work rate in both defensive and attacking phases, Adams quickly adapted to the demands of the Romanian top flight.”

Sports247 reports further that this development comes a few hours after FC Midtjylland of Denmark announced their signing of another Nigerian teenager, Olashile Lawal, ahead of next season.
