Aris Petroupolis of Greece striker, Abiola Dauda has revealed fresh plans towards making his Lagos-based pet project, Bilda Football Academy become greater as the year 2026 rolls along, Sports247 reports<\/p>\n

The academy, which is bssed at LA Primary School in Isashi area of Ijanikin, Lagos is currently relishing the breakthrough achieved by one of their products, Leonard Ngenge, who recently signed for Leeds United of England.<\/p>\n

Though Ngenge is known more with his days at Ikorodu City and Remo Stars as well as the home-based Eagles, Dauda disclosed that Bilda Academy is happy that the tall centre back emerged from their ranks.<\/p>\n

Speaking further in his status as co-owner of the academy, Dauda praised his colleagues \u2013 Edwin Edereho, Dare Soyingbe, Adekunle Michael Soyingbe, Tunde Ishola and team captain, Adeolu Ashafa \u2013 for making the project wax stronger.<\/p>\n

However, Dauda further disclosed that the team is currently facing a high hurdle for proper operations, due to financial constraints, especially towards their commencement of on-site camping for the players.<\/p>\n

The lanky dark-skinned attacker, who previously played for FF Kalmar of Sweden and Red Star Belgrade of Serbia, added, \u201cWe are open for collaboration and partnership with foreign investors for various forms of sponsorship and other agreements.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the moment, trying to get our players into a suitable camp site is our biggest challenge. We\u2019re looking at the expenses and how we can keep it running once we finally declare it open.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded with an appeal for the provision of better facilities by Lagos State government towards ensuring that youth clubs get an ideal environment to enhance their effectiveness in all areas of activities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want both the state and federal governments to help us create more infrastructure for sports in Lagos. That would help football promoters, stakeholders, and clubs get a good ecosystem that they can grow with,\u201d Dauda submitted.<\/p>\n

The skilful attacker added that he will soon bring home experience he has gained abroad, which also includes stints with Hearts of Scotland, Ionikos of Greece, Vitesse of Netherlands and Giresonspor of Turkey.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
