With a statement on their official website<\/a>, Danish Superliga club Lyngby\u00a0Boldklub have announced that Denmark U21 international of Nigerian descent Tochi Chukwuani has extended his contract until the end of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The extremely talented midfielder has been sold to Austrian Bundesliga outfit Sturm Graz and the move will be completed in the summer when the transfer window opens for business.<\/p>\n

A product of the\u00a0Nordsjaelland academy, Chukwuani\u00a0moved to Lyngby on a two-year deal in the summer of 2022 and would have departed the Vikings on a free transfer at the end of the season if he didn’t sign a contract extension.<\/p>\n

The three-time Austrian champions have confirmed that Chukwuani\u00a0has agreed a long-term contract until 2028.<\/p>\n

Overall, the Danish-Nigerian young star appeared in 77 matches in the Superliga, scoring seven goals while producing three assists.<\/p>\n

Chukwuani has vowed to give his all to Lyngby\u00a0in the last ten games of the season\u00a0so that they can end their collaboration in style\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sturm Graz had been monitoring the progress of the Danish-Nigerian midfielder before tying up a deal for the 20-year-old, who has been named in the latest Denmark U21 squad for their March internationals.<\/p>\n

He has registered five goals in thirty-seven appearances for Denmark’s youth teams.\u00a0<\/p>\n
