The Malian Football Federation on Friday afternoon unveiled a list of 28-players summoned for their March internationals against Mauritania (March 22) and Nigeria (March 26).<\/p>\n
A notable exclusion is Tottenham Hotspur midfielder\u00a0Yves Bissouma, arguably the country’s most popular player,\u00a0<\/p>\n
Bissouma is seemingly in good physical condition given that he went the distance in Tottenham’s last Premier League game at Aston Villa.<\/p>\n
The 27-year-old featured in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, where he started two of the five matches played by Mali before they exited the tournament in the quarterfinal stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00c9ric S\u00e9kou Chelle has picked three goalkeepers, nine defenders, eight midfielders and eight forwards for the training camp in March.<\/p>\n
