FK Bodo\/Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen has played down reports linking Nigerian striker\u00a0\u00a0Ibrahim Hafiz Umar with an imminent transfer to the three-time Norwegian\u00a0Eliteserien champions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Italian transfer market guru Fabrizio Romano earlier reported on Thursday that\u00a0FK Bodo\/Glimt were closing in on deal to sign Umar, adding the the agreement is being finalized.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 18-year-old has emerged as a transfer target for a plethora of European clubs after putting himself in the shop window at the\u00a0Viareggio Cup, where he won the top scorer award with ten goals.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to Romano, the Norwegian champions and the striker, who is currently on the books of Ojodu City Academy, are nearing an agreement.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However,\u00a0Kjetil Knutsen has insisted that he has never heard of the talented Nigerian forward.\u00a0<\/p>\n
