Turkish football club Besiktas have announced the termination of Emirhan Delibas\u2019 contract after reports of his dating profile surfaced online, sparking controversy on social media platforms.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old winger, who came through Besiktas\u2019 youth academy, has mutually agreed to leave the club despite denying the authenticity of the profile, which he labeled as \u2018fake.\u2019<\/p>\n

Delibas, who made only two senior appearances for Besiktas, found himself at the center of a storm after an alleged profile on the dating app Bumble emerged.<\/p>\n

The profile, falsely claiming Delibas to be 24 years old, featured a photo of him in Besiktas\u2019 training kit holding a drink, alongside his name and an inaccurate age.<\/p>\n

Although the official reason for Delibas\u2019 departure was not explicitly stated by the club, it is widely speculated that the controversy surrounding the dating profile played a significant role in the decision.<\/p>\n

In an official statement, Besiktas announced,<\/a> \u201cWe have parted ways with professional football player Emirhan Delibas by mutual agreement. We wish him success in his future career.\u201d<\/p>\n

The player distanced himself from the profile on social media, stating, \u201cI reject the slanders made by fake accounts,\u201d Delibas emphasized his loyalty to Besiktas, describing the club as a responsibility and a source of motivation.<\/p>\n

Delibas\u2019 departure marks the end of his stay at Besiktas, a club where he began his journey in the youth ranks at the tender age of seven.<\/p>\n

Rising through the ranks, he made his first-team debut in 2020, representing the club in various competitions.<\/p>\n

Having also featured for Turkey at the U-17, U-18, and U-19 levels, Delibas now faces the challenge of rebuilding his career elsewhere following his departure from Besiktas.<\/p>\n
