Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi scored his fourth goal of the season as Leicester City pounced Plymouth 4-0 in the English Championship on Saturday, December 9, 2023.<\/p>\n

Enzo Maresca named Wilfred Ndidi in the starting XI for the match at King Power and the midfielder repayed the confidence with his fourth goal of the 2023\/2024 season.<\/p>\n

Stephan Mavdidi scored the opening goal, after he converted from the spot following a 13th minute spot-kick.<\/p>\n

The league leaders were 2-0 up early in the second half as Patson Daka scored his first goal of the season.<\/p>\n

Mavdidi bagged his brace to make it 3-0 for in-form Foxes who showed no signs of missing Jamie Vardy and Kelechi\u00a0Iheanacho\u00a0who were unavailable for selection.<\/p>\n

In the 55th minute, Ndidi raced into the box to lash onto a Daka pass, firing a shot into the bottom corner to make it 4-0\u00a0 for Enzo Maresca\u2019s men.<\/p>\n

The win takes Leicester City back to top spot, with 49 points in 20 games, one point above second placed Ipswich in their race for promotion back to the English Premier League.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
