Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen has been named 2023 Italian Serie A Best Player of the year at the AIC Oscar Del Calcio awards ceremony.<\/p>\n

Osimhen\u2019s latest recognition adds to a packed award-list for his superlative performance in the 2022\/2023 season.<\/p>\n

Recall that the Super Eagle scored 31 goals in 39 games to help Napoli win their first Scudetto in 33 years and also reach a first-ever UEFA Champions League quater-final.<\/p>\n

Osimhen was also included in the Serie team of the year alongside Mike Maignan, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Kim Min-jae, Andrea Bastoni, Theo Hern\u00e1ndez, Stanislav Lobotka, Hakan \u00c7alhano\u011flu, Nicolo Barella, Rafael Le\u00e3o, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.<\/p>\n

After finishing as the highest ranked African on the Ballon D\u2019or award-list [8th], Osimhen will arrive at the 2023 CAF awards in Morocco as favourite to be crowned Africa\u2019s best.<\/p>\n

The striker was joined by his girlfriend, Stephanie Ladewig for the AIS Calcio Awards ceremony.<\/p>\n
