Former Golden Eaglets skipper, Kelechi Nwakali has reacted to his player of the match win after starring in Chaves 2-1 victory over Vizela in Portugal.<\/p>\n

Nwakali was instrumental as Chaves returned to winning ways with a win that pulls them out of the drop zone in Portugal\u2019s Primera Liga.<\/p>\n

Hector Hernandez and Jo scored for Chaves who recovered from a 12th minute strike by Essende for the visitors.<\/p>\n

After the encounter, Nwakali on his X handle explained the feeling of starting the new month with a win and player of the match award.<\/p>\n

He wrote : \u201c3 points, Man of the match. Best way to say happy new month. We move @gdchaves1949.\u201d<\/p>\n

That win took Chaves out of the relegation zone up to 15th on 10 points in the 18-team table.<\/p>\n

Nwakali has four appearances for the Super Eagles after making his debut in 2018.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old was part of the Super Eagles squad that reached the 2021 AFCON round of 16 stage.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
