Spanish La Liga side Getafe are reportedly eyeing a permanent transfer for Manchester United owned forward Mason Greenwood.<\/p>\n

Getafe came to the rescue of Greenwood whose career was stalled by rape allegations which has since been quashed.<\/p>\n

The Spanish outfit signed the 22-year old on a season long loan deal and are currently responsible for \u00a375000 of his weekly wages.<\/p>\n

After eight games in Spain , Getafe want to sign the forward permanently in the summer but will meet stiff resistance from the Red Devils who will reportedly prefer anoth year out on loan for the talented Englishman.<\/p>\n

According to the Sun, Getafe bosses are going to try and persuade Manchester United\u00a0to sell Greenwood to them. The Spanish club will play on United\u2019s desire to shed some weight from their already hefty wage bill, but United would reportedly prefer to loan the 22-year-old out for another season instead.<\/p>\n

One key factor that will influence the decisions will be the players choice and comfort after what has been a turmultous period of his life.<\/p>\n

The young attacker is reportedly happy and settled in Madrid, as are his partner and baby daughter.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
