Bayer Leverkusen winger, Nathan Tella has reacted to earning his maiden Super Eagles of Nigeria call-up for 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification games in November.<\/p>\n
The Nigeria Football Federation on Thursday, November 9 announced list of 23-players invited for Nigeria\u2019s double-header vs Lesotho and Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n
On that list was , Nathan Tella who dumps his country of birth, England to play for his fatherland Nigeria.<\/p>\n
In reaction to the maiden call-up, Tella said it was a dream he is looking forward to fulfilling.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s a great feeling and a great opportunity for me. As a young boy and a footballer, you dream of representing your own country \u2013 and now I finally have the opportunity to do so. I can\u2019t wait and I\u2019m really looking forward to it,\u201d he told Bayer Leverkusen official website.<\/p>\n
Tella will be looking to make his debut for the three-time African champions when they confront the Crocodiles of Lesotho and Warriors of Zimbabwe in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers next week.<\/p>\n
Jose Peseiro will hopefully cap the skillful winger who has made nine appearances this season for German Bundesliga table toppers, Bayer Leverkusen.<\/p>\n
Tella will have club teammate Victor Boniface as guide when he arrives the Super Eagles camp for the first time.<\/p>\n
The Super Eagles will host Lesotho at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo next Thursday.<\/p>\n
They will travel to Zimbabwe three days later for a matchday two fixture.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
