After scoring his first English Premier league hat-trick to help Chelsea defeat Tottenham Hotspurs 1-4, Nicholas Jackson says the Blues are slowly hitting peak form.<\/p>\n
Chelsea defeated 9-man Spurs in London to secure their biggest win in recent times amidst a poor run of form.<\/p>\n
For Jackson who joined Chelsea FC from Villareal in the summer, it is an amazing feeling scoring his first hat-trick for a club he describes as the \u2018 biggest club in England \u2018 .<\/p>\n
\u201cI am very happy and it has been a difficult time for everybody in the team, \u201d Jackson told the post-match interview.<\/p>\n
\u201d We are coming back really slowly and happy to have scored three goals.<\/p>\n
\u201c[My start at Chelsea] has been very difficult, but life is like this. It\u2019s my first hat-trick, so I am happy to have done it with the biggest club in England and everywhere.<\/p>\n
\u201cI need to always improve and work harder,\u201d Jackson added. \u201cWe continue working. Tottenham have an amazing stadium and amazing fans, so we needed to fight and win the game.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was really difficult (when Tottenham went down to nine men) as they continued to maintain their line. We have quality players to give us the ball and we won.<\/p>\n
\u201d We were dreaming about winning the big games and the confidence within the team is coming really slowly.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mauricio Pochettino tutored Chelsea will hope to build on the win against Spurs when they travel to the Etihad to face reigning Premier League champions Manchester City on Sunday.<\/p>\n
A positive result vs Pep Guariola\u2019s men who will face Young Boys in the UEFA Champions League in midweek will be a significant boost and signal of a new lease of life for Chelsea FC.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
