Odion Ighalo scored his fifth goal of the season as Al Wedha SC defeated Abha 4-0 on Friday, September 22, 2023. SportsRation reports.<\/p>\n

The Saudi Arabia Pro League week seven clash was a comfortable cruise for Odion Ighalo and his teammates, the Nigerian who was on for 90 minutes completed the rout when he scored in the 88th minute.<\/p>\n

Ighalo joined Al Wedha SC in August as a free agent and has played five games with his five goals helping his new club to seventh place on the standing with twelve points.<\/p>\n

In the win over Abha SC, C. Goodwin opened the goal rush for Al Wedha SC in the 8th minute. The home team were 2-0 up in the 24th minute through Al-Hafith\u2019s goal.<\/p>\n

Two other goals in the second half ensured a comfortable win for Al Wedha SC, F. Fajr made it 3-0 in the 65th minute, before former Al Hilal forward Odion Ighalo capped the result with the fourth goal with two minutes of regulation time to go.<\/p>\n

A prolific goal-scorer who is constantly in reckoning for the top-scorer award in Saudi Arabia, Ighalo joins the list of leading scorers in the Pro League, with Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo on top with nine goals.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
