Super Eagles coach Jos\u00e9 Peseiro has likened Victor Osimhen to Manchester City ace Erling Haaland who has arguably been the best striker in Europe in the last 12 months.<\/p>\n

Osimhen and Haaland played vital roles for Napoli and Manchester City respectively in their Premier League and Serie A triumphs last season.<\/p>\n

The Nigerian striker was the top scorer in the Serie A with 26 goals and bagged the Serie A Best Striker award while his Norwegian counterpart won the Premier League Golden Boot, Player of the Season and Football Writers’ \u00a0Association Footballer of the Year among other awards.<\/p>\n

It is unsurprising that the duo have been nominated for the Ballon d’Or alongside 28 others and are also in contention for the Best FIFA Men’s Player of the Year prize.<\/p>\n

Peseiro believes Osimhen is one of the best strikers in the world and that he is as hungry as Haaland for goals.<\/p>\n
