Chelsea U21s made a winning start to their Premier League Cup campaign on Tuesday evening, thrashing Luton Town 4-1 at\u00a0Kingsmeadow with a player of Nigerian descent Tyrique George on target for the young Blues.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Chelsea manager\u00a0Mark Robinson handed a start to Academy Scholar of the Year for the 2022-2023 season, Somto Boniface, while George entered the game as a substitute in the 71st minute.<\/p>\n

Leo Castledine gave Chelsea the lead on the half hour mark and Dylan Williams doubled the advantage six minutes later as the hosts established a 2-0 lead, but\u00a0Millar Matthews-Lewis pulled one back six minutes into first half stoppage time.<\/p>\n
