Spanish defender Sergio Ramos has begged Sevilla fans for forgiveness after he returned to the club on Monday September 4.<\/p>\n
Ramos left Sevilla 18-years ago as a youngster but will once again represent the club following his free transfer.<\/p>\n
The former Spanish national team captain was a free agent since June when his contract with French Ligue One Club Paris Saint Germain expired.<\/p>\n
Immediately after Sevilla announced his return, Ramos took to Social media with a video where he sent apologies to the clubs fans who may have been hurt by his actions especially during his days with Real Madrid.<\/p>\n
Sergio Ramos said in the video as translated in English Language;<\/p>\n
\u201d Today is a very special and exciting day for me. I\u2019m finally back home, I\u2019m looking forward to putting this shield back on my chest. It\u2019s been 18 years since I left and I think I\u2019ve made mistakes,\u201d he said<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI want to take the opportunity to apologise in person and ask for forgiveness from any Sevillista who has felt offended by things and gestures that I may have done at the time.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI think we are all in the same boat and we are all the same family.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI am one more, I come to add and I want to row in the same direction. I\u2019m looking forward to meeting all of you. It wasn\u2019t just a debt to myself, to my grandfather who made me a Sevilla fan, to my father. There was no point in taking another course and taking another direction that was not going back to my house.
