Super Eagles-eligible winger Noni Madueke has expressed his delight in Chelsea signing his England U21 teammate Cole Palmer.<\/p>\n

\u200bChelsea have announced the signing of the Manchester City Academy product on a seven-year deal with the option of a further year.<\/p>\n

The England youth international was brought in to bolster the Blues’ attacking options as he can play either as a right winger or a number 10. \u00a0<\/p>\n “Obviously we want to get Champions League next year so obviously we need top players in every position.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n “We\u2019re very close, me and Cole. We\u2019ve been playing for England together since we were 14-years-old, so I welcome him.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n “I know him really well. We won the Euros together in the summer, so he\u2019s a great lad and a great player as well.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n “Obviously he grew up playing in the middle, but he plays on the left and the right. It\u2019s what the gaffer decides, but he\u2019s a top player and you want top players coming in the building because it helps you compete.\u201d<\/p>\n
