Initially, the Lithuanian official did not spot it live until the VAR called his attention to it and he awarded the penalty following a pitchside review.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Reacting to the penalty incident, former Everton\u00a0forward\u00a0James McFadden suggested that the referee made the right call by awarding a penalty to the Swiss team.\u00a0<\/p>\n
