The Agbor Football Coaches and Directors Union ( AFCADU) on Saturday held its swearing in Ceremony of newly elected Executives at the Stadium bar at agbor.<\/p>\n
The newly elected President, Coach Alika Onyeka and his Vice president Coach Harrison Obodo along with their excos took the oath of office and allegiance at a ceremony attended by over 30 coaches from 25 clubs and academy in Agbor and environ.<\/p>\n
\u201cI beg us all to work collectively and in one accord to move this union forward, Remember the passed executive has set a standard, of which we must not fall below \u201cCoach Alika stated in his acceptance speech while thanking the coaches for electing him and commending the outgoing president and his excos for steering the ship of the union thus far.<\/p>\n
The outgoing President, Coach Matthew Oribhabor was presented with a certificate of appreciation which was received in his absence by Coach of Rainbow FC Coach Obiaderi Augustine. In a farewell message sent from his UK base, Coach matthew thanked the coaches for their support and lauded the pioneer president of the Union Coach Adodo Martins for his efforts in laying the foundation for the union.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to reciprocate the love, unity to my unbeatable executive, indeed you guys were the best. In my time despite the challenges, we never give up and I am so happy I officially handover office with more members, i took over with 15 teams but I am handing over with 27 teams and I pray this Union will attain greater level.\u201d he wrote<\/p>\n
\u201cAs I officially hand over power today, I want to assure you that I will always be there to give my quota when necessary. I will keep supporting the Union when necessary. This Union has rebirth Agbor football, and I am happy we did it together because without you people, I will only lead myself.\u201d he stated<\/p>\n
\u201cMy special thanks goes to the gentleman that gave birth to this Union Mr Raul Chris, who took his time to bring us together and form this Union, with God by our side you will forever be remembered. I will also want to thank the first appointed leader of this union ,Mr. M.Adodo, you will forever be remembered. \u201che added<\/p>\n
