It has taken 2019 Fifa U17 World Cup star Ibrahim Said just two matches to open his goalscoring account for the 2023-2024 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After registering an assist on the opening matchday against Nordsjaelland, Said salvaged a point for Viborg when he scored in the 76th minute of their 2-2 draw with Lyngby BK at the Viborg Stadium on Friday evening.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
The visitors were 2-0 up after 24 minutes courtesy of goals from\u00a0Alfred Finnbogason and Pascal Gregor.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Three minutes before the break, Danish-Nigerian striker Anosike Ementa showed great vision to find\u00a0Oliver Bundgaard, who managed to find the back of the net despite the goalkeeper’s best efforts to keep it out.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
After an hour played, only a goal-line clearance prevented Ibrahaim Said from restoring parity.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, the Viborg number 8 was not be denied with fourteen minutes left on the clock when he scored a goal of the season contender with an unstoppable shot from long range after a clearance by the Lyngby defence fell to him.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
A product of Dabo Babes Academy, Said joined Viborg in 2020 and has totaled 67 games for the club in all competitions, registering nine goals and nine assists.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
As a youth international, he is best remembered for the hat-trick he scored against Ecuador at the 2019 Fifa U17 World Cup.<\/p>\n
