Spanish La Liga giants FC Barcelona and Villareal will battle for the signature of Nigeria National League teenage sensation Ibrahim Afolabi Oseni.<\/p>\n

This is according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo<\/a> who say FC Barcelona want to sign Oseni after already completing the signing of the young Senegalese defender Mikayil Faye\u00a0(18 years old), from\u00a0\u00a0NK Kustosija Zagreb in the Croatian second division.<\/p>\n

Bar\u00e7a have identified Oseni as another top African talent to further strengthen their Youth teams<\/p>\n

17-year old Ibrahim Afolabi Oseni had undergone trials in Spain before returning to complete the Nigeria National League season for Joy Cometh FC.<\/p>\n

The teenager did confirm his multiple European trials back in February \u201cI\u2019ve been to many clubs in Spain and Ukraine for trials and I\u2019m back home for one reason or another. I\u2019ll be back soon but while I\u2019m in the country, I want to train with my childhood club,\u201d<\/p>\n

Amongst the clubs the youngster trialed are with Levante\u00a0,\u00a0Legan\u00e9s\u00a0,\u00a0Sabadell\u00a0and in the Ukrainian\u00a0Dnipro\u00a0.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Villareal will rival Barcelona for his signature. his close links to having trained with the Bar\u00e7a Academy in Lagos state, may play a part in jus eventual choice.<\/p>\n

Oseni plays a midfielder but is capable of operating from the flanks, a system favourable at Barcelona and Villareal.<\/p>\n

The youngster is expected to hit Spain for talks and tests before a decision is made.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
