Eight Future Stars Emerge From Mama of Africa U17 Scouting Invitational Tournament, Set For Trials
The 2nd Edition of Mama of Africa U17 Scouting Invitational Tournament in conjunction with Royal Priesthood Fellowship International final took place over the weekend at N.U.D Primary School playing ground, Olose Ifo, marking a great impact on the Youth away from Music.
Eight football academies across Ifo and Ado-Odo Ota local government competed in the tournament, held from September 18 to 21.

Participating clubs included Ajax FC, Gods Own FC, Concord FC, Femmco FC, Favour-Rite FC, Ultimate FC, Mico FC and Abata FC.
All fixtures were played at 11-Aside through a knockout format culminating in a showpiece final at the same venue.
Concord FC U17 fell to a defeat to Ultimate FC U17 in a tight contest after a barren draw to seek through to the final after 4-2 win via penalty shootout. In the second semi-final, Ajax FC U17 defeated Femmco FC U17 (8-7 on penalties) in the second semifinal after 2-2 draw.
In the final, Ajax FC U17 faced Ultimate FC U17 and claimed victorious with 2-0 with all goals scored in the second half by Micheal Peter in the 46th minutes and Akpan Austin in the 56th minutes.

Ajax FC’s Striker Akpan Austin earned the tournament’s Most Valuable Player and Highest goal scorer with four goals in three matches.
The 16th Edition of the annual concert of Mama of Africa tagged “Rhythmz 4rm Above” schedule to hold Thursday 25th September, 2025 at Quality Event Center, Okenla Ifo.
