Kingdom Osayi attracts interest from European club

Doma United goalkeeper Kingdom Osayi is reportedly on the brink of departing the club for an opportunity abroad, with an unnamed European club showing interest in acquiring his services.

Osayi’s stellar performances between the posts have garnered attention, positioning him as a contender for the NPFL goalkeeper of the season award. His impressive form during the first half of the season has undoubtedly caught the eye of scouts from Europe.

However, Osayi’s potential departure from Doma United would be a significant setback for the struggling side, managed by Akinade Onigbinde. The team has endured a challenging second half of the season, failing to secure a single victory thus far.

Doma United’s winless streak extended to 10 games following a 1-1 draw against Gombe United on Saturday, further compounding their woes. Currently positioned 13th in the league standings with 34 points, the club faces an uphill battle to improve their standing without Osayi’s contributions between the posts.

While Osayi’s departure may pose challenges for Doma United, his potential move abroad signifies a significant milestone in his career, as he seeks to explore new opportunities and showcase his talent on a broader stage.
