KG Sports Academy Through To AFCADU U17 Quarter Finals


KG sports Academy Agbor sailed through to the AFCADU Quarter finals in the AFCADU U-17 Championship with a game to spare.

The Pride of Agbor arrived Agbor stadium in style from their base in Asaba where they have been camped in the last two month undergoing a Summer Program.

The Coach Adeyinka Ogundeji led side edged out Golden boys In their first match with a lone goal from Elijah. The Pride of Agbor boys created many chances but failed to convert them.

“Yes my boys were wasteful in the match, we could have won that game with as much as 3 goals, but l can Understand that being our first match we hadn’t really settled” coach Adeyinka Said.

The pride of Agbor went on to defeat Winners FC 2-1 in the second match to lead group A with 6 points with a game in hand which confirms their ticket to the Quarter finals.

11 Teams are taking part in the tournament organized by the Agbor Football Coaches and Directors Union (AFCADU)
