Peter Rufai Expresses Interest in Super Eagles Goalkeeper Coaching Role

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Peter Rufai has thrown his hat into the ring for the position of goalkeeper coach within the Super Eagles setup.

The retired goalkeeper and former Super Eagles captain, speaking during a conversation with Mitchell Obi on Sports Salsa, revealed his eagerness to take on the coaching responsibilities.

“I’m ready for them. To show them techniques of goalkeeping. I’m waiting to be one of the Super Eagles coaches sometime, someday.

“We have to get it right. We have goalkeepers but something is missing. You can’t give what you don’t have… we have the talents. Goalkeeping goes beyond catching the ball,” Peter Rufai conveyed to Mitchell Obi on Sports Salsa (Kennis 104.1FM).

His enthusiasm to contribute his expertise and help elevate the skills of the next generation of goalkeepers shines through in his statements.
