4 Female Teams To Participate In First Edition Of Bayelsa Governor’s Cup, As Competition Gets Underway This Thursday


Four teams will take part in the inaugural edition of the women’s version of the Bayelsa State Governor’s Football Tournament.

The four registered women’s teams are Peremo Soccer Academy, Niger Delta University, NDU Queens, Golden Sun Sports Club and Crystal Stars FC.

The draws for the female version of the “Prosperity Cup”is scheduled to take place at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, Yenagoa by Noon.
Action begins on Thursday, July 27 with Semi Games.

The losing teams will clash in the Third place play off on Saturday while the Final will hold on Sunday, July 30 same day as the men’s Final between De Grace FC of Yenagoa and Crusaders Feeders FC of Peretoru, Ekeremor.

All matches are billed to hold at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
