Road to Glory Begins! 32 Teams Set for the 8th Edition of the Ibro-Peckham Marlians Cup — Defending Champions Juvenile FC Miss Out


The excitement is back and the countdown has officially begun as 32 grassroots teams prepare to battle for supremacy in the 8th Edition of the Ibro-Peckham Marlians Football Competition, popularly known as the Marlians Cup.

The 2025 season promises intensity, drama, and local pride, as top football academies and community clubs from across Ogun State and neighboring regions gear up for what has become the largest grassroots football tournament in the area.

The group stage is set to kick off in the first week of November 2025 at the Champions Arena, Nawarudeen Primary School Playing Ground, Olose Ifo, Ogun State.

This year’s edition comes with a major talking point — defending champions Juvenile FC will not participate, leaving room for a new team to rise and claim glory.

The final draw ceremony, held on October 9, 2025, at Quality Event Center, Okenla, Ifo, brought together football stakeholders, coaches, referees, journalists, and team representatives in a lively and passionate atmosphere.

Among the dignitaries present were Raufu S.I, Odelana Phillips, Boluwaji Victor Bavis, Odelabu Love, and Kola Olojede, alongside several respected figures from the local football community.
