Gaslink Nigeria Unveils New World-Class Astroturf For Lagos Sports Lovers

Lagos sports enthusiasts have a reason to celebrate as Gaslink Nigeria Limited has gifted a brand-new Astroturf pitch to the Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) at the Elegbata Sports Complex, Lagos Island.

The newly upgraded facility boasts high-quality synthetic turf, an improved drainage system for all-weather play, and a renovated perimeter fence, spectator stands, and walkways, ensuring a top-tier experience for athletes and fans alike.

At the official handover ceremony, LSSC Director General Lekan Fatodu commended Gaslink for its commitment to grassroots sports development. “This facility is a game-changer for young athletes in Lagos. It provides a safe and modern space for training, competitions, and community engagement,” he said.

Gaslink Managing Director Kehinde Alabi emphasized the transformative power of sports in youth engagement and community growth. “Sports have the ability to unite people, inspire young talents, and create opportunities. We are proud to contribute to the development of sports in Lagos,” he stated.
