Community | 12 teams compete in EFL Utilita Kids’ Cup for a place in the national finals!

Earlier this month, we welcomed 12 teams from across the North to Laithwaite Park to compete in the EFL Utilita Kids’ Cup for a chance to progress to the national finals.
St Wilfrid’s Primary School were representing Latics after winning the initial round of the tournament to represent their club in the regional rounds. After working closely with Wigan Athletic Community Trust staff, getting to go on a tour of the DW Stadium and receiving a training session to prepare for the regionals, the final round came down to Latics and Port Vale.
