Oshoala nets brace for Barcelona Femeni, pays tribute to Mohbad

FC Barcelona Femeni striker Asisat Oshoala scored twice for the Spanish champions as they spanked Granada 6-1, before paying homage to departed artiste Mohbad.

Barcelona have dominated their league in impressive fashion, winning each of their first five matches to start the league season.

Against Granada, they wasted no time to take the lead through Spanish star Patri Guijarro in the sixth minute, before right-back Ona Batlle doubled their advantage in the 29th minute.

The champions had to wait until the second half to add to their tally, with youngster Salma Paralluelo adding her name to the scoresheet in the 59th minute. Mariona Caldentey scored her side’s fourth goal in the 66th minute, as well.

Oshoala added her name to the scoresheet twice in quick succession at the Estadi Johan Cruyff. She scored her side’s fifth in the 80th minute before scoring her second only two minutes later. In celebration, she lifted up her shirt to reveal a shirt with which she paid homage to the late artiste.
