Super Eagles begin preparation for Sao Tome and Principe clash


Super Eagles of Nigeria have began preparation for the AFCON qualification game vs Sao Tome and Principe on Sunday September 10.

Head Coach Jose Peseiro led a full complement of 23 invited Super Eagles players for their first training session at the Practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

The Eagles were put through their paces by Peseiro and his assistants to set foundation for other programs to follow until the matchday.

All the invited players reported in camp as scheduled on Wednesday September 6 and are currently lodged at Four Points by Sheraton hotel located at Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

Practice will continue on Thursday morning as the team prepares to see out what has been a successful Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series.

The Nigeria vs Sao Tome and Principe clash will take place on Sunday September 10 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo.
