Nathan Tella remains the priority target for Bayern Leverkusen despite their links to Barcelona’s Morocco international Abde Ezzalzouli.

According to Fussballtransfers, the Super Eagles-eligible forward is higher on Bayern Leverkusen’s wishlist than the Barcelona youngster.

​The departure of Moussa Diaby who registered fourteen goals and eleven assists across all competitions last season has left a huge vacuum in Xabi Alonso’s side which needs replacing before the end of the transfer window.

​As earlier reported, the Black and Reds have submitted a 15.4 million pound bid for Tella which has been rejected by Southampton.

​The 23-year-old is being valued at 25 million pounds but it has been said that a 20 million pounds bid could be enough to convince Southampton to part away with the Anglo-Nigerian.

While Burnley also have an interest in the versatile forward, it has been said that they have been priced out of a move for him. 

Tella seems not to be disturbed by the transfer speculations as he has started the season on a good note.

He has registered 2 goals contributions in 3 games for Southampton in the Championship this season.
